Heralded as one of our generations greatest guitar players, Guthrie Govan is an incredibly insightful, creative, and highly adept musican with a technical (and musical) ability that can be matched by very few people on the planet!

Here's Guthrie as you may not have heard him before! Our aim with the Melodic Series was to create jam tracks that work well with simple, melodic soloing. Whatever your level of ability, you can use these jam tracks to play cool, interesting solos. The chords are rich and complex, so even simple lead lines can sound sophisticated. Guthrie's solos are amazing and inspiring as usual, but he's using a lot of pentatonic licks and lots of breathing space.

As ever, we have included everything you need to practise and perfect the material in this package. There are audio tracks for you to listen and study, accurately transcribed TAB/notation for you to analyse and master as well as backing tracks for you to practise every lick to, and jam out your own solos! We've even included some text notes to help you really get these parts down!
